Construction Progress Update: REGENT Seaglider Manufacturing Facility in Rhode Island

Equity Industrial Partners is pleased to share continued progress on its 255,000-square-foot build-to-suit development in Rhode Island for Quonset Development Corporation and REGENT.

The project is nearing core and shell completion, marking a major milestone for what will become a premier advanced manufacturing facility. Once operational, the site will support production of REGENT’s innovative seagliders, a new class of coastal transportation vehicles.

Construction progress remains strong, with walls now erected and flooring installed across the full 255,000-square-foot facility. This milestone reflects the coordinated efforts of the project team and construction partners, including Integrated Builders, whose leadership has been instrumental in maintaining schedule and execution quality, alongside Equity Industrial Partners and Director of Construction John Hennessey.

As the build advances, anticipation continues to grow for the role this facility will play in bringing REGENT’s first seagliders to market. 2026 is shaping up to be a pivotal year as the project transitions from construction to production readiness.
